· We do not endorse any politicians and we do not have a political agenda.
· We believe in traditional family values.
· We believe in our God-given rights so clearly defined in our Constitution. We want to keep
these rights, not have them changed or taken away.
· We believe in the right to keep and bear arms.
· We believe in less government, not more intrusion.
· We believe in less spending, not more entitlement programs.
· We believe in less taxation, not wealth-redistribution.
· We believe you know how to spend your money, not the government.
· Finally, we believe in the PEOPLE, not the party.

As the "TEA PARTY movement grows the Shoals Patriots are planning another rally for Tax Day April 15th. The TEA PARTY RALLY will be held at the Lauderdale County Court House at 12 Noon. Speakers will be Gary Cosby, Associate Pastor at Christ Chapel. Dr. Larry Nelson, Professor at UNA. and John Hargett a local CPA. Inspirational and Patriotic songs by Trenecia Butler and Al Jackson. The Shoals Patriots are a non partisan group of Patriots that invites everyone to get involved. If you love this country, come join us. Bring your signs, Let's make some noise!!!!!! Let's take back America.!! Those that choose to march to the Post Office for a final Rally are invited to do so.

GET YOUR PATRIOTIC AMERICA SPIRIT GOING . JOIN THE TEA PARTY RALLY APRIL 15TH. AT 12 NOON, LAUDERDALE COUNTY COURT HOUSE.

The Tea Party movement began last April when the citizens of the United States felt like they were being Taxed Enough Already,(TEA). The Shoals Patriots were formed at this time, with their first Rally being held at the Lauderdale County Court House on April 15th., with an estimated crowd of over 500. The Shoals Patriots came back with a Memorial Day Rally with a Patriotic Rally and cook out, celebrating our Veterans and Country. Then on July 3rd. a Rally was held in Veterans Park, celebrating our God given Freedoms and our Country. Over 1000 people attended this Tea Party Rally. The Shoals Patriots also made a trip to Montgomery in January to hold a Rally with other "TEA PARTY" groups from across the State of Alabama. This "Welcome Back Rally" to our State Representatives was to draw attention to the 10th. Amendment for the State of Alabama. This Amendment had been on a committee's desk for two years, and the "TEA PARTY" group ask that it be passed. When the Bill came up for vote it was passed into law that day, and Governor Riley signed it a few weeks later. The Shoals Patriots are now providing Town Hall mixers with Candidates from both parties to meet and mingle with citizens for an up close and personal view of where they stand on issues. This informal setting will give everyone a chance to ask questions and meet the candidates from both parties. The first Town Hall Mixer will be held at Demo's in Florence from 6 to 8p.m. on April 6th. and at Sidelines in Florence on April 13th. and on April 27th the Candidates will be at Gill's Steak House in Muscle Shoals. All Candidates and All voters are invited to come and get involved. All Mixers will be from 6 to 8 p.m. The Shoals Patriots meet monthly to be more informed on what is going on in our State, Local, and Federal Government, and how to address each issue. The Shoals Patriots are now meeting weekly studying the Constitution of the United States, and getting better informed as to our Rights as a United States Citizen. * seem intent on removing all Christian values from American society?
* turn their backs on Israel and refuse to defend her against her enemies?
* appoint a defender of child pornography to the Number 2 position in the Justice Department?
* want to force doctors and other medical workers to perform abortions against their will?
* want to reduce your tax deductibility for charitable gifts?
* are spending trillions of borrowed dollars, leaving a debt our great-grandchildren will be paying?
* want to impose a carbon tax on your electricity, gas and home heating fuels?
* take money from your family budget to pay for their federal budget?

If so, join us in exercising our God-given right to peacefully protest. We will be holding a rally to let Washington know that Christians are also voters and we will NOT sit silently by while our God-given rights are attacked. Christians of all denominations must UNITE as one body to save our country!
